Terms & Conditions Continued

1. Booking and Reservation

• All bookings are subject to availability.
• A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation.
• We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations at our discretion in case of vehicle issues, system errors, or other unforeseen circumstances.

2. Rental Requirements

• Renters must be at least 21 years of age (or the age required by local laws).
• Renters must have a valid driver’s license and meet the eligibility requirements for Turo or other rental platforms we use.
• Renters are responsible for providing accurate information during the booking process.

3. Payment

• Payment is due at the time of booking and must be made using a valid credit card or through an authorized platform (e.g., Turo).
• All rental prices include taxes and fees unless otherwise specified.
• Late returns may incur additional charges, including hourly or daily rental fees.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time.
• 50% refunds are given for cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental start time.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the rental has started or for no-shows.

5. Vehicle Use

• The vehicle must be driven only by the approved driver(s) listed in the booking.
• Renters are prohibited from using the vehicle for illegal activities, off-roading, racing, or transporting hazardous materials.
• Smoking in the vehicle is not allowed. A cleaning fee will be charged for violations.
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when it was rented, with the fuel tank at the same level as when the rental began.

6. Insurance and Liability

• Renters are required to maintain adequate insurance coverage. If booking through Turo, Turo’s insurance policy applies.
• Renters are responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of the vehicle during the rental period, including tire and windshield damage.
• Velocity Rentals, LLC is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or losses that occur during the rental period.

7. Late Returns

• If the vehicle is returned later than the agreed-upon return time, a late fee will apply. For extended rentals, the rental rate will be prorated according to the terms of the agreement.
• If the vehicle is not returned on time, Velocity Rentals, LLC reserves the right to take action to retrieve the vehicle at the renter’s expense.

8. Fuel Policy

• Renters must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when it was picked up. Failure to do so will result in a refueling charge.

9. Personal Data

• By booking a rental, you agree to our Privacy Policy. We collect and use personal data as described in that policy to process your reservation and provide you with our services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Velocity Rentals, LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the vehicle.

11. Changes to Terms

Velocity Rentals, LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
